| no partners | | Drove up to the top with the family on Sunday to cook some hot dogs and enjoy the cool 55 degree weather. After our feast we went over to Icehouse Cyn to check out the fall color. The aspen were peak yellow, but the maples still have some time to go. The wind and rain has taken its toll however, and many of the trees are looking thin on foliage before they've even had the chance to turn for the season. Maybe Halloween weekend will be more colorful.

Autumn Foliage Observation Moderate Aspen are peak to past peak. Maples still mostly green with spots of yellow and red. Lots of leaves already on the ground. Looks like wind and rain has already beaten up the foliage somewhat. |
