| no partners | | | I headed into California to run a couple errands. I left 5 hours earlier than I needed, so I could spend some time near the Salton See area. (The area has been on my list for a while.) After driving down Box Canyon Road nearing the Salton Sea, I decided to head toward Ladder Canyon. I didnt make it to the Sea. I ended up running the Ladder Canyon Loop in reverse. I did hike down a dead end trail, before descending down into Ladder Canyon. The dead end trail was marked with rocks telling you it was a dead end. I continued down this part of the trail ended, then headed back. Over all a very cool area. I am planning on coming back and exploring the Mecca Hills when I have more time. |
