Parked before the picnic areas, road walk paved then dirt. Stream is lovely and it entertained me, about 85% of the maples are still green. I tried with what I could find. Saw some birders and a couple of people on bikes, a good way to see the canyon now. A massive amount of road work, not sure why is not open yet. The main event is still at least a week off.
