Needed some desert time. Missed the pullout I wanted and down this bumpy sandy road instead. Stopped at a tank which was dry. Quick walk in the open desert to the foothills, then some exploring. Early christmas presents from several wonderful people gifted me with the camera set up for this photoset. Sony A7rii, 42MP full frame, sony adaptor and a sigma full frame 12-24mm lens. Now I need lessons as I have no idea what this thing is capable of . Joel, Ron, Derek, Michael--anyone??? It's definitely not gonna be a backpacking, off trail set up.
