| no partners | | I visited a couple ruins recently, each with "plazas", that are only about 2.5mi apart and I thought it might be fun to walk between them to see what was there.
It's nice country, seldom visited I imagine, but slow going with plenty of obstacles and rocky ground. I found odd pottery pieces along the way and a couple concentrations but nothing more interesting than that.
I planned a different return route which hit another hilltop, and there I did find some habitation signs: ruins of several rooms, a defensive wall, and some pottery.
I hustled back to beat sun down. A few tumbles on the loose hillsides and several items of clothing ruined by the branches and stickers but I more or less enjoyed it. |
