| no partners | | Our son came in from Seattle and since the area east of Camp Verde was always one of his favorite places we took him up there to see the earth shattering meteor crater.
It was a great day hiking and wandering. Temp was in the 60s and clear and sunny. Just what he wanted, big open sunny skies. It was amazing since the wife and I were just up there a week ago how many flowers came out.
Well I didn't include new crater photos in this set cuz, well it hasn't changed much. I told our son not to expect much and I think he was more impressed we actually found it. It reminded Ma and I of the time we took him to the Muir Woods to see the giant redwoods and he looked at us and said he wanted to see the "real" redwoods.
He jokingly looked at us and said "well at least I've seen the "real" Meteor Crater". |
