Between the Sunday paper and the football game (I should have skipped it) I had time for a desert wander. I was expecting to find a lookout ruin but anything else would be just luck.

The lookout was unspectacular - defined mainly by a cleared area surrounded by a rock perimeter located on the end of a ridge. I walked a ways further before finding anything else - then I started noticing some pottery pieces on the desert flats. I couldn't identify any "stacked stone" habitation sites but there must be some. I even found a couple painted sherds.

I finished by climbing another hill which had some petroglyphs and another lookout/ruin (found one sherd there). This hill may have been posted by Petrophile already.
