| no partners | | 2 laps to the trailhead, but after 3 switchbacks of breaking trail in a foot of snow, I decided on 1 lap. Came back shoveled the drive again and then some sled action with the kids, my dad and a neighbor and his kid. Ended the night shoveling another foot off the deck and it's still heavily snowing. Almost 24" so far at the house. Had to use the whitewater kayak to make a path on the sled hill because it was too deep even for the toboggan. Hard to believe I hiked Mt. Esther in shorts and sandals yesterday and could barely make it up with snowshoes today. I even needed snowshoes for the road walk. Spring in the Mountains! Can't beat it!
BTW here is my 70 year young dad riding the toboggan. Wish I got him video of him on the Kayak. He ended up in the bushes.
