While driving up to Aztec Peak along FR 487 I noticed this on the north side of the road and walked over to check it out. Looks like it might be some sort of experiment on fuel moisture. Not far from where I camped. It is nice to see that the Sierra Ancha Experimental Forest is still true to its name. :)
