There is a visitors center which was closed but they had some literature available that we took on the interpretive trail. Along the way there are markers that tell you all the fun facts about the Bristlecone Forest. Very cool loop with excellent views and Bristlecone's galore of all shapes and sizes. We took our time reading at each marker giving the scenery more time to sink in. Only about 900 feet AEG so nothing too strenuous and the trail was great by any standards. It was still early so only saw 3 other people on the trail before the crowds showed as we were leaving. Too bad we had to drive back to Phx and 118...yikes |
