Day 1

Drove up to Grandview Campground (8500') to snag a site, then headed to the visitor center for this loop. The trees are super cool and you get some good views of Deep Springs Lake and the Inyo Mountains.

I figured a 4 mile hike with <1000ft of gain would be a piece of cake but I had nothing left at the end. Annihilated some potato chips and jerky back at the car and headed back to camp without hiking the Discovery Loop - will be back for it one day.
