Had my RS app on the whole time I was wandering around the desert and taking photos and managed to actually clock up some mileage. Astrophotography is more of a play around thing for me since it's something I'm not serious about but I do enjoy experimenting with my
cameras capabilities.
Iv never seen so many meteors (shooting stars) in my life! Truly was somewhere around 100-200 per hour if not a lot more just like the reports said, it was hard to keep track, at one point I didn't care about photos and just sat back in my lounge chair to look up and enjoy the great spectacle! It was worth staying up until 4am and driving out that way since that area is going to be my new playground being in such close proximity to my house. Although I did not get distinct photos of any meteors I still enjoyed my time of peace listening to a silent desert and viewing the Perseid Shower. |
