I met JohnLP at the trailhead a little after 7:00am. It was raining so I jumped in his car and we waited it out until a little after 7:30. Thinking we were in the clear we hit the trail. Before long here it came again, and then again, and finally one more time. By the time we reached the National Trail we were drenched and water was flowing everywhere.

It was pretty cool to see actually! Thankfully it didn't rain on the return trip. Shoes were already sloshy enough!
