| no partners | | I like this trail. Not as much as Finger Rock but it's a good one for sure. Today however was rough, my allergies were going crazy and from 3 miles in to about 5 miles in the trail is really overgrown. It was difficult to follow and several times I had to back track and regain the trail. The grass is just really tall. I finally figured out that if I just shuffled along my feet could basically feel the trail below me. It gets that way on the approach to Reavis Ranch sometimes.
It's amazing how different the weather was today from a couple days ago. Hot and humid would best describe the air today. Views on the other hand were exceptional from Kimball.
I wonder what the ratio is of people that take Finger Rock up vs Pima Canyon? It's got to be at least 10 to 1. Trail looked like nobody had been on it since Kyle and 9L did it in May. At least above the damn that is.
Tacos at BK's afterwards with Lee and Jackie. That worked out well! |
