| no partners | | Two MORE Lists of John Peaks. Began with my headlamp at hard dark and reached the flat area just near Union Hills Peak just at sunrise and it was beautiful.
The first peak, 2144 seemed to never end and while not hard, I was starting from probably 1550 feet so it was a decent climb. Peak 2111 to make it more difficult, I created a route that would basically summit and traverse a ridgeline which would connect up with the summit after a shorter climb than from down at the base. Someone had taken a bathroom scale to the top! LMAO.
Down I went, hitting Great Horned Owl which wraps back around Union Hills Peak and the rest of the hike was uneventful. |
