| partners | | After hitting up Rattlesnake and realizing it was not dog friendly I met up with Buford and an old H.S. friend in Bellemont and we all headed to Paradise!
I was certain the falls would be gushing with water and once on FR527 I really knew we were in for a show since the road itself appeared like it went right down the middle of a lake because there was an abundance of water surrounding the road on each side.
The roar of the falls at the parking area had me filled with joy since I've been waiting so long to finally catch this place in its prime, even had one trial and error trip last summer.
Also not sure if this is true but both Buford and talked about how we've never been able to find any photos of this place taken with a legitimate tripod/DSLR combo.
I'm sure there's some out there considering how popular this place is but I've done a lot of digging on the internet and social media and never found anything.
Obviously there is no more "first ascents/descents" in Arizona but one thing I often think about is there is still so much of Arizona that has not been properly photographed and that thought alone just fuels my motivation to explore! |
