| no partners | | Loads of unwanted but important errands to Saturday and had to squeeze something in close to home.
I was certainly not expecting much out there and was originally headed to Cottonwood Creek but at the last mintute decided to just park and explore since it was raining so much and becoming late in the day.
Ive never even gave any thought to Cow Creek as I assumed it had nothing to offer but I was most definitely wrong and to my surprise found this awesome narrow slickrock section that I dubbed the "Cow's Cheese".
What looks almost looks like nothing on sat view is a beautiful unique area complete with a 50 foot overhang and a little sandy beach that my dog and I comfortably took refuge from the rain underneath.

I took my camera out in pouring rain but I'd like to think I'm becoming accustomed at the whole shielding from the elements while shooting thing since I've been doing it so much lately and my recently bought mini umbrella will only add to the arsenal.
After that I just hiked upstream a mile to see what else was there and made a steep game trail ascent through a lush green desert back up to the road.
As always another great day in a new area under unique conditions!
I believe this is entry is number 1 Hundo in my official HAZ journal with hundreds of more adventures to come!
