On my way back from Flagstaff last weekend, I took my favorite route home. I used to drive Lake Mary Road often when on my way south to visit family in Phoenix. The extra 55 minutes is worth it.

Mormon Lake is full. I had hoped to glimpse a view of the Peaks, but they were under cloud cover (as they were earlier this morning). There was a heard of elk crossing the road just north of Happy Jack. I counted 9!

Fulton Canyon and Willow Valley (WCC Headwaters) were flowing really well!

Snow on the banks. Flowing nicely under the highway.
