I finally got started around 9:30 this morning so the temps were already starting to kick up. Several downed trees cross the trail for the first quarter mile past Florida Saddle. After that it is pretty much smooth sailing. Three others were up top enjoying the summit as the wind whipped around. Luckily there were no bugs today so I stayed for a short bit and then headed back the way I came.

I Love hiking this Mountain and this route is a nice alternative to my usual path up. It just requires a little more effort. :sweat:
