Got a call this morning from Wally. He was wondering who I called when my transmission went out near Devils Chasm. Turns out he had busted a ball joint on the way to do a hike from the Campaign Trailhead. He caught me at a good time since I was just about to leave for Globe to go do Sixshooter. I went up and got him after a tow truck attempted to get him out to no avail. Tow truck got stuck in the sand. :o Anyway I aborted the Sixshooter plans and we went ahead and did the hike he was headed to do.

He had seen what appeared to be a ruin on satellite view. Sure enough he was correct. We saw another along the way as well as some sherds. Wally has a serious eye for this stuff as I would have missed the sherds for sure.

We are going back tomorrow to fix his ride and if time permits I can get to the Sixshooter as planned.
