| partners | | I picked Wally up at 10AM this morning in Gilbert and we headed back up to fix his broken ball joint. We got to his truck near the Campaign Trailhead at 11:30. By 12:40 he was back on the road so we headed over to Globe and then up to the Sixshooter/CCC Trailhead.
We went up Sixshooter and back down on Telephone Ridge. The burn evidence is everywhere. Luckily the trails are in pretty good shape for the most part. There were a few downed trees to get over and one washed out spot but otherwise pretty easy to follow. Telephone trail is pretty rough due to wash out. Hopefully time will smooth things out.
We were hoping to see a bear but no such luck today. I wonder if they even have anything to eat since so much got cooked?
Afterwards Wally treated to a great meal at La Casita. I'm glad I could assist and glad everything worked out with his Jeep. |
