I recently rebuilt an old steel frame mountain bike into a gravel bike for touring/bikepacking. I took it out for a test ride on seven springs road this weekend. The plan was to ride to seven spring campground, but my buddy, Jonathan, took a rough fall on the way out. Realizing we forgot the first aid kit, we decided it would be best to head back. We ended up turning around near the 10 mile mark. This was a fun ride in the morning, before there was much traffic. On the way back, we stopped at Camp Creek (which had nice surface flow) and enjoyed some Wren House Valley Beer. Not a bad way to recover from a bike crash! :D

Good flow in Camp Creek, about .2 mile upstream of the Rackensack Canyon junction.
