Little insomnia sunrise exercise exploration hike before work and also testing out the capabilities of the new adventure-mobile.

Encountered the largest herd of elk I’ve seen this year, easily 50+ elk as far as the eyes could see getting their early morning grub on.

I wanted to link up with the AZ trail and utilize it for other endeavors but that will have to wait for a day off since it’s big country out here and I was short on time.
Also no shortage of water out here, plenty of unmarked and unamed tanks filled to the brim with water.

Nice and calm this morning but the high winds really started cranking in Rim Country this afternoon.
