| no partners | | Once again I decided to bag camping in favor of staying at a lodge ... once again could not have been happier with my decision. Kohl's Ranch is much larger than the place I stayed last week, and not nearly as charming - but the location, amenities, friendly service, and creekside birding are pretty awesome!
I wandered up and down the creek and beyond several times during my visit.
Saw and photographed many fun birds!
Searched for a few geocaches and got my best find yet - the clever hide and cute cache earned a favorite from me.
Also found a nice little mini-backpack type fishing pole leaned up against a tree - I didn't take it right away, but when it was still there the next day I took it. I've been wanting one of those |
