| no partners | | My first ABA Rare Bird Alert chase ... couple hundred miles driving plus a couple more hours searching - think I heard it when I first got there, but no looks. 
Hot, humid, buggy, not many birds of any sort.
Good news was that I somehow stayed dry despite rain and storms all around most of the day.
Spur of the moment stopped off at Pearce and randomly got a couple good birds at the cemetery. 
The darn bird was seen and photographed again today (7/15)! Can't believe I missed it!
Going to try again Wednesday!  |
