| no partners | | For my last day in Nis before heading to Belgrade for the night to catch a super early flight the next day, Dmitri said he wanted to go with me on one of my morning walks. It was a nice way to spend some father/son bonding time.
I decided to go back to the Nis Fortress again after starting out along the river. I took him by the Roman era monuments again and headed to the city garden. They have some landscaping and a cage with 3 peacocks and a chicken. Then we went by the amphitheater where live music is often played.
The clouds were clearing, which brought back some nice views of the surrounding green hills and mountains. It also quickly brought back the heat and humidity. Just in time for me to head out. |
