Plan was to hike Glover Creek area off SR 87 North of 260 West. Started raining off and on just as we got into Payson. As we traveled North it was getting darker and darker. Made a decision to head to Sedona area on 260 West. Wanted a water hike so Kai could get wet and I did not have to carry his water. By the time we started it was 10 AM and the parking lot at Bell Trailhead was almost full. Wanted to make it to the “crack” but it was getting hot for us and the dog so at the 2.5 mile marked we found a nice rock to sit on, had lunch and headed back. With Judy and Kai our Flat Coat Retreiver.
