Afternoon hike. Started about 12:30 pm and headed out. Weather was great for hiking (fluffy clouds, slight breeze, 68 degrees). Hike up to Weir trail was easy and took little time. Maintaining on the Bell trail took us on some great scenic views up the canyon... fall foliage was in effect, so the vistas were great. All connecting trails looked to be well kept. Took about 1:50 to get to Bell Crossing... when you come to that sign, keep to the left to get to The Crack (about 100 yards past sign). Down to Bell Crossing is good for some running creek action.

Great hike with an awesome payoff at the end.

The creek had many fall colors along the length... great amber and yellow hues!

More light to medium flow. The Crack was stocked with clear water. Too cool to jump in, but it felt great on the feet.
