Morning storm swept diagonally across the valley. At 5am it was 90 degrees, at 6am it was 80. The cool weather scared off the crowds. Slightly eerie when more show up for the daily furnace foray. Tarantula, scorpion, light sprinkles and a dreamy breeze, nuff said.
Kiwanis - Holbert Loop
The best urban loop in the valley never disappoints. Muggy as the light storms were long gone. Whoppin' total of 6 hikers. 3 on Kiwanis, 1 on National & 2 on Holbert. Enjoyed the National stretch most. Saw a fox on mid-upper Holbert then another dashing across the parking lot. |
