| no partners | | Not sure there's any way to capture the beauty of this hike (or most others in CO) on film. I've never seen a body of water as blue as Ice Lake. The trail was crowded and strenuous, but it was well worth it. Island Lake wasn't nearly as brilliant, but still nothing to sneeze at! Thanks to Craig and Maureen from Grand Junction for the idea of camping at Clear Lake tonight! Helped me beat the Grapes of Wrath crowds down along Mineral Creek... |
