| no partners | | Started at the Cinchhook Trailhead (north) and hiked south with my pooch. We turned around at the bridge, which is 3.7 miles descent one-way, making this trek a total of 7.4 miles. We saw 2 other people, no animals, tons of birds, plenty of water, and plenty of butterflies. One even landed on me to get some salt off my skin. The north 1.5-mile segment of the trail is very overgrown, rocky, and full of loose rock. Wear sturdy shoes and pants that are resistant to stickers and snags. We didn't see any snakes, but be very mindful of your step. We did see plenty of lizards and some spiders scurrying as we brushed up against the overgrown shrubs. |

Autumn Foliage Observation Isolated Green for the most part. Some of the sycamores and cottonwoods are dropping crunchy, brown leaves. |
