Original plan was to do Pine Canyon Donahue Loop but my hamstring was bothering me so we opted for smaller hike. Went up Pine Canyon Trail a few miles to Dripping Springs and checked out that area. It was also first time since the section was rerouted which is really nice trail but adds mile with the switchbacks. After break at the spring we headed towards Pine TH but went over to the Highline AZT section to check out the reroute there as well. Here again it adds mileage to the trail as some very wide switchbacks have been added to the section. We ended up turning around after a few of the switchbacks and back to Pine TH. Then over to THAT Brewery to finish the day with a beverage!
