Exactly one week after the first sighting, I succeeded in re-locating and getting the best photos yet of my 1st state record Ringed Kingfisher! :y: :D
There have been at least dozens, if not a hundred or more, birders here searching Roper, Dankworth, and all the other little ponds around here for the past week. She is quite shy - for such a little explorer - but she is definitely the most famous bird in AZ now ... undoubtedly many more birders coming to search now!
