| partners | | Another year is almost in the books. I just forgot to give the book to Denny. It was Denny's hike, so he was responsible for our well being and to answer all of our questions. How much water to bring? What time to meet? Shorts or long pants? Weather forecast? The hike is usually the secondary issue. The main attraction is getting together with good friends even if someone's daughter says "what if he is a axe murderer". This one time with Wally? Buckle up, I want to try this thing I saw in a cartoon. You know what's funny? When you ask that question and someone bursts out laughing while clinging to a cliff face hanging on for dear life. I missed the Thanksgiving hike 4,3,2,1, I had no good excuse except they start too early. I am thankful that every year Denny puts this hike together. We've done some good hikes but it's the stories. Lee Harvey... Nkneeways, fun hike and we saw another peak to hit in the area and it even haz a karen at the start. Maybe we'll hit that peak next year or next week  Of course we sang a few favorite Denny Christmas songs. |
