This trail was much rougher and rockier than when I last hiked with lots of jolting to the hips & back... not really the best choice for a hike while still in recovery mode. Having to be extra vigilant for both rocks and loose gravel wash-outs made it a bit more stressful than I cared for.

On the way home we thought we'd do a quick jaunt to the Stewart Dam petroglyphs (which Tracey had never seen) but when we were asked to pay $15 to park at the 'official trail-head' (which is actually on private property owned by the Guest Ranch), rather than drive back around on Bush Highway and hike from that side, we decided to skip it. Tracey will just have to wait til I'm fully recovered I guess.
