We decided to make a North Loop combining Dynamite, San Tan, Hedgehog, and Goldmine trails. this turned out to be a 9.9 mile loop of the northern San Tan Mountain Regional park.

It was cloudy, and I think we got some good photos. Normally I don't care for hikes so close to town, but we needed a quick fix since I was planning on taking the telescope out all night. It was actually ok, and the fog added a bit. I think this area has real good prospects for full moon night hiking since the trails are well marked, and for the most part pretty straight forward.
