Decided I wanted to do a hike with less elevation and vegetation than the Superstition Wilderness. This fit the menu, was at least able to hike faster than 2 mph. Views are reasonably entertaining , visited “Santa’s” grave at the end. This hike is more enjoyable on a cloudy day like today as there is little shade. From the Goldmine Trailhead made a loop, took the Goldmine trail first to start with a good warmup, finished up with the dynamite trail, rest of it San Tan and Hedgehog.Only a couple of bikers to avoid, school field trip on Goldmine trail , otherwise only sporadic hikers met.
