Another foray into the delightful Goldfields. I'm starting to recognize some of the places I've been before. Hiking off trail was looser and brushier than usual for this area. Got a little scratched up, but nothing worth wearing pants for.
Flowers are still looking good. The geology here is relentlessly interesting and great for hiking.
A 29 year old joined us, and a 79 year old left us. Always a pleasure to hike with Ray and Kelly. Rhonda joined us for lunch and reminded us how compassionate Ray is. Though the other half of the story is much more interesting.
