| partners | | Got to explore a new area that had been on my radar for a while. I managed to drive the road in 4 times over the course of the weekend because it's such an enjoyable mountain road!
The canyon was rocky and dry, overgrown, and mostly annoying. Travel was slow. Lots of huge boulders. Eventually we reached water, and the swimmers were positively brutal. I'm not sure these will ever warm up!
Scenery picked up downstream. Turned out to be pretty nice. I ran out of time and had to turn back a bit sooner than I had hoped, while the others continued on. I could explore more places like this. |
