Saturday trail run in the N Maricopas. I had only been out here once before, and never for the promised spring superbloom. It was a little disappointing. There's a a solid 3 mile approach just to get across the boring part of this one and see a flower. And you'll have to do the same on the way back. Nonetheless, it's pretty scenic once you get back there. Flowers were there to be found, though only a couple of us ever took the opportunity to stop and smell them. Seemed everybody was in a hurry or whatever. [ youtube video ]

It was nice to meet Mark, and I guess to hike with the others again. ;)
