| no partners | | | Very nice, beautiful hike to rock formations similar to The Wave near Coyote Buttes North. Road in was pretty good shape during our visit but could be a bear after rainy weather due to what seems like a clay base. The area is on a plateau north of St. George, Utah, and was included as a hike for our hiking club outing in April. The hike actually doesn't take very long, but you could spend all day out there wandering among the various formations. A real gem, not on many charts. My track will help you find the trailhead and get you to the cliffs where most of the best views are. Best of all, no permits needed. |
