Hit Squaw Peak this morning for some exercise; it wasn't too hot really for late June. I also wanted to see the progress on the parking lot improvements. Well, they closed the first lot now and the summit lot is in full renovation mode. I really like the new bridge and facilities; it will be great when they open! The second lot (Apache?) is mostly open and much nicer. Bigger too!
The Phoenix Mountains, along with South and North Mountain, are old parks and it's great to see some renovation and modernization! :) I'm not sure when it all will be completed. Maybe before all the tourists return next spring? :lol:
