| no partners | | The only thing hiking related about this is it was along the drive between hikes last weekend. I had only been through here twice before, both times in the dark. So it was impressive to see in daylight.
Truly incredible feats of engineering on display. They could charge money here like any other travel sightseeing attraction.
Amazingly, I encountered a coyote on the side of the road, in the middle of the mine. Not a living plant for a mile. He seemed very out of place. Very likely had come up from Eagle Creek, but I can't imagine there was a good reason why. Too many fences for it make much headway in any direction. |
