| no partners | | I wanted to visit this section of the lower Gila River to look for petroglyphs and other ancient signs. I started a couple miles south of the Oatman Massacre site so I could walk a loop and just look around.
It went about as expected with good walking, ancient paths, and petroglyphs. I planned to walk past the Oatman Grave site but got on the wrong side of the thicket and skipped it in the end. I'm going to have to dig a little deeper to find new places to go on the Gila. |
