| no partners | | I was talking with my friend the other day telling him about my younger days exploring and how I always went straight for the epic waterfalls, canyons or show stopping locations sometimes ignoring the so called “boring flatlands” that weave this great state together.
It is in this seemingly endless and often overlooked land that holds the true treasures and stories of the wilderness and its rich history.
The more I pay attention to the ground the more I learn and the more I realize there truly is remnants of ancient civilizations to be found all over this state from the high country to the desert and everything in between wether it be ruins, petroglyphs, pottery or artifacts the evidence is everywhere.
Tough walking on Buckhead with sticky clay mud and oversaturated ground giving some extra weight to the boots in some spots but other than that a beautiful day to roam this sweet little area. |
