Thought we would try a hike in the Catalina State Park. This is a long hike it crosses streambeds 3-4 times with nice pools if you want to take a dip. Pretty typical Tuscon hiking with the exception of the pools at the streambed crossings. I can see why this is a favorite of the locals. It was quite crowded in the lower half of the hike when we came back from the end of the hike.

The problem with most of the Tuscon hikes is that they shoot up into the mountains, but you never seem to be able to get away from the city since it's right there in the valley.
