This and the ridgeline hike are my favorites in this area. I like the fact that you get two good view points since it has two saddles in the hike. The main downside of this hike is that the trail is almost entirely rocky with various size boulders.

This hike appears to be gaining in popularity also, ran across about 10 folks even though we started at 6:45am and finished about 9:15am.
