| no partners | | Daughter and I did the Weavers Needle loop. Started at Peralta trailhead. Went counter-clockwise. Along Bluff Spring, to Terrapin, to Dutchmans, to Peralta trail, and back to trailhead.
Was on the trail by 7 a.m. (about 1/2 dozen vehicles at trailhead). Saw three backpackers on the Terrapin; a group on 17 horses (and riders) about a mile in on the Peralta, and a few other people prior to arriving at Fremont. Once we got to Fremont Saddle, there were a lot more people (at least a dozen) ... It looked like most went went up to Fremont Saddle and then back down.
This was the first time for hiking from the Peralta trailhead. Nice. Usually go in at First Water trailhead. Both nice.
