Another walk in the desert behind our condo complex. I was surprised to see the same Great Horned Owl sitting on the same roof as I walked through the complex towards the desert. The last time, which was 12 days ago, he was hooting up a storm. I assumed he was attempting to call in a mate. Well, he was successful because the new Mrs was sitting on the roof with him today. Out in the desert a Red-Tailed Hawk paused on top of a Saguaro providing another photo opportunity. A nice desert hike and getting there only required walking out our front door.
