Back out to the same vicinity where I began my bail-out hike four days ago. No way Tracey was up for anything off-trail so we settled for a number of out-and-backs along or on either side of Forest Road 2466 between Devils and Rawhide Canyons.
We expected cooler weather than last week, and that we got, albeit along with a bit of rain... over half of the time we were hiking in either a steady drizzle or light rain.

Although cooler than last week we were every bit as wet afterward. While the 'waterproof' part of our waterproof/breathable rain gear was accurate, the breathable part was NOT so we were as wet as though we had not worn rain gear at all. But no matter as the cooling rain still felt good.
